ABOUT CRISTEN
My name is Cristen Incitti. I am the CEO of a statewide non-profit, Girl Scout Troop leader, and public school parent running to bring my executive experience and progressive values to Ward 4. I’m ready to get to work and solve our most complex problems so we can make our city a place where everyone truly feels at home.
My family and I live in Merriam Park where we spend our time enjoying our parks, public libraries, and favorite neighborhood restaurants like Gus Gus, Spicy Feta, and Groundswell. As a mom of one tween and one 3rd grader, I am deeply invested in strengthening Saint Paul, building community, and deepening our connection to City Hall.
Community Leadership
I’ve been a youth volleyball coach through our city’s parks and recreation league for the past two years and a Girl Scout troop leader for more than five. I love giving back to my community in these ways because it’s how I’ve gotten to know other families in Saint Paul and it has demonstrated the value of our city services. I host our annual National Night Out event in our neighborhood and my favorite part is connecting with familiar and new faces to hear what they love about our community.
Professional Experience
I grew up in Wisconsin, have a Bachelors in Mathematics from University of Wisconsin River Falls, and a Masters in Higher Education from Ohio State University. I have lived throughout the midwest, and made Minnesota home for more than 15 years. I’ve been working in affordable housing in the Twin Cities and across the state for over a decade. Through my work, I’ve helped first generation homeowners make their first purchase, have financed and expanded affordable housing options across Minnesota, and overseen multi-million dollar operating budgets and assets. This experience makes me ready on day one to lead our city’s efforts to tackle our toughest challenges like addressing homelessness to maintaining affordability in our neighborhoods.
